I’m a blogger from another blog; a mother to a daughter (and also to her brother). I am a lost wandering geophysicist who has no idea if she will ever find her way back to the professional world I left behind six years ago to go on maternity leave. I have spent the last 72 months following the toy-trail and picking up after the above mentioned kids, THEN, in this professional absence I decided to follow my husband’s career which required passports, airplanes, and books on italian grammar. I did not see this coming.
For four years we lived in Milano and now my King has graciously been asked to pack up his Queen (that being me!), and his two little pawns to London, England. Here I will scribble our life in a country that obeys, adores, and praises the sacred happy union of lineups and offers scones in every bakery on any high street.
London is stupendous in its own way and though this orderly conduct is refreshing, it does make me miss the humour and organized chaos that was Italy. Should you be so curious, the other blog which depicted our Italian life is here.
Follow us along our new escapade where we absorb all the splendour that London has to offer, improve our proper English, and learn how to navigate on London streets. Don’t be shy to leave a comment-I do enough talking that it’s always great to hear from some one else.
